Gathre is a brand set up by two best friends, Jess and Mare. The purpose behind this brand is: “to make space for the worthwhile”. Because as they are young moms, they have realized that if they wanted to live with intention and to live peacefully, they’d have to first clear out a little space. Their Original Gathre mat was made with this thought – to give a literal space to gather with the kids. It was about making the effort to create a moment. A space of time where everyone could get paused and be together. They have now expanded their product categories, but everything they produce still creates space. Their products are proof that beautiful things can be functional.
